Auberge De Temple
Auberge de Temple is a Michelin star boutique hotel and artspace in Germany founded by the renowned art collector Günther de Temple and Christine Wondrak.
I have been fortunate to have had a long lasting illustrative collaborative journey with the Auberge de Temple since its evolution. I recorded through a series of black linear illustrations the renovation, building and moving in of the boutique hotel as well as behind the scenes, collaterals and artworks for their vans.
“In 2013 I opened the Auberge de Temple, a restaurant and hotel. All the illustrations for the house including the website were done by Hatty Pedder. It was an inspiring, wonderful and fruitful collaboration. The result is impressive and has given the house a very individual and beautiful character, and gained much attention.
We have shared a long creative journey with Hatty and have become great friends.”

Art De Temple
The Art de Temple is a Gallery space and framers set up in conjunction with the Art de Temple. For the Art de Temple, I was commissioned to create a series of ink illustrations capturing their different offerings. The surreal approach taken for these artworks was to work in synergy with the illustrations created for the Auberge de Temple.
Website
This series of bespoke, surreal, and whimsical illustrations were created for the Auberge de Temple’s website, to reflect the unique creativity of their concept. I visited the Auberge de Temple to soak up the environment and worked from a series of photographs, incorporating architectural, ornaments, and elements from the Boutique space.
