Hatty is a live wedding artist based in London, offering two captivating art experiences for your special day:
Live wedding paintings
These are reportage-style works of art, capturing the story of your wedding as it unfolds. Rather than focusing on just one posed moment, Hatty weaves together multiple scenes — the setting, the people, and key moments — to create a rich, emotive painting that tells the full story of your day.Live guest portraits
While the celebration is underway, Hatty paints quick, elegant portraits of your guests. These live guest illustrations are a unique personal gift and a delightful form of interactive entertainment.
Both these services create a lasting visual memory — your day captured in expressive, heartfelt art.
-
Hatty’s wedding live paintings are reportage-style artworks in A1 size, created using mixed media techniques with ink, pen, and watercolour on a special thick watercolour paper. The main focus of the composition is the wedding couple, with up to 15 additional key guests or family members included. As the painting is created live throughout the day, it becomes an interactive experience for guests, who can watch the artwork come to life. Hatty also weaves in floral arrangements, food, elements of the setup, and the overall essence of the wedding, all captured in her distinctively vibrant and expressive style. The finished piece is presented at the end of the celebration, offering a truly unique and personal keepsake of the day.
In addition to the main painting, her individual guest portraits (A4\A5) are stylish, minimal portraits done live that guests can take home the same day.
-
Yes — Hatty offers the option of a series of reportage wedding sketches which can be selected to capture key moments.
-
Hatty’s live wedding paintings are created throughout the wedding, typically over 6 to 7 hours, to capture the entire day as it unfolds. This reportage-style approach knits together key moments from your special day — the ceremony, guests, atmosphere, and candid interactions — into one cohesive and expressive artwork.
-
